I’ve been doing more scrappin’ than snappin’ lately. I don’t seem in any danger of running out of photos to scrap, as I have been a shutterbug as long as I can remember. But I do want to get a better balance of the two passions of mine. Going to the photography club meeting yesterday evening helped, and I brought my favorite camera book with me to read during Rhiannon’s singing class today. But then I felt distracted and took the easier route, reading old scrapbooking magazines.
Here are a couple of my recent pages.
I just finished this trip down memory lane for Scrapgirls’ ReJUNEvenate challenge, using mostly items from Angie Brigg’s Gypsy Boots kit, one of my favorites because of the colors. Click on the layout to see other recent pages I’ve made.
I’m also participating in the Brownie Supreme challenge at Brownie Scraps. Last week we were to use one kit, a photo representing ourselves, and lots of white space. So I had another trip way far down memory lane. I decided to scrap about how much I have achieved in the last twenty years. That smaller picture is my high school senior portrait. Again, you can click on the photo to see it larger in my gallery.
