2013 Week 48 {dreams}

This week the theme challenged me. I was distracted by Thanksgiving, first of all, but also it was hard for me to come up with a creative idea. I’ve taken lots of pictures of my kids sleeping, which was the first idea that came to me. Finally, last night as I was reading aloud to the kids, I realized I’d been reading the word “dream” a lot in Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. (We’re reading it yet again — I’ve lost track of the number of times — because my 7 year old has asked for it.) So this morning I set up a little photo studio between my desk and window. And then I went upstairs and photographed my sleeping kids anyway.

". . . that dream he had had, just before he had awoken with his Loved Book Depth of Field Book Light Still Dreaming at 10:30 a.m.

  1. I love this whole post. The idea you first had, the very worn (and awesome) book, the images themselves, and the fact that you went upstairs and took pictures of them sleeping anyway. =)
