Project 365 April 6 to 12: Grapefruit, Karaoke, History, and Jumping

I continue shooting every day!  In the last week I have practiced still life and event photography.

When I cut open this grapefruit to make my own juice, I thought it was too pretty not to photograph first.

We had another fun night at Bella Cafe for karaoke. My girls were there with friends and during one song there was even dancing!

On Friday we visited Thomas Stone National Historic site in Maryland. He was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. He’s not as well known because his wife was very sick and he ended up leaving politics to focus on his family.

Over the weekend Robert fixed our trampoline and Caroline was eager to jump again. She talked her brother into joining her because it’s more fun that way. I took the chance to practice photography — I wish I’d used a higher shutter speed; glad I’ll have more chances to try again — and then I jumped for a little while too.

Are you jumping for joy to see me posting my Project 365 photos again?  😀   And my Project group is active again!  Next, visit Mindy at Orange Moon Photography.
