Scrappy Sunday – New Challenges For February

If you’re following  me, you know I made scrapbook pages almost every day in January while participating in the Month of Challenges at The Lilypad. I didn’t intend to take a break, but I didn’t scrap again for several days after I completed those pages.

I remembered, just in time, to join Scrapping With Liz’ Make It Scrappy challenge on Saturday night, and that jump-started my scrapping again. The challenge was to use one of Liz’ templates and follow a short list of directions.

After that, I wasn’t ready to stop, so I took on another challenge at The Lilypad. This is the template challenge. With all these heart cut-outs, of course it had to be a page about My Love.

I almost didn’t scrap today. I worked on other things, like editing photos. But in the evening, I opened Photoshop, determined to not let a Sunday go by without scrapping. First, I chose to do the photography challenge, which was about photographing our current view of things. This also happens to be my Project 52 Week 4 photo, which I took late, just today. The assignment was to photograph our current season. It was very interesting to see the variety of photos, as Clickinmoms has an international membership. (Affiliate link, thank you!)

That was an easy page, so I continued on to do one more challenge. This is the “BYOC” challenge and also very easy if you happen to buy some of the new “BYOC” products that came out on Friday. BYOC stands for “Build Your Own Collection” and it’s a lots of element and paper packs all created with the same color palette so you can mix and match. I like how colorful it is this month.

Almost everything I used to create these pages is from designers at The Lilypad.  For detailed product credits see these layouts in my TLP gallery.
